Explore The Beaches of Skiathos

The beaches of Skiathos are many and varied. Over 60 beaches and coves ring the island and even in the height of the season it is possible to find a secluded spot.  Most of the beaches are sandy and range from the long & busy Koukounaries to tiny isolated coves where peace and quiet are the order of the day. For those rather more adventurous visitors who prefer an all over tan, Little Banana beach is a must-visit spot.  We are more than happy to help our guests find their ideal location for a little sun-worship whatever their preference.

Many of the beaches of Skiathos are readily accessed on foot. However,  with a few more easily reached by car, we recommend hiring a 4 wheel drive vehicle for at least one or two days during your stay to take advantage of the secluded beaches and unspoilt scenery on the north side of the island.
Some beaches can only be reached by boat and for that we suggest you take the opportunity to either book one of our trips or you can even hire a small boat for the day from several companies.
